Island Events provides full service catering, party planning and event management services. With the ownership of four well established island restaurants and The Nantucket Chowder Company we are capable of handling any size event from intimate dinners, corporate receptions, weddings and cocktail parties to clambakes. Owners Larry Whelden and E.J. Harvey’s desire and passion for serving the best possible food and creating a memorable event is their commitment to every client.

Party Planning & Event Management:Looking to make your event stand out from the rest? Every affair begins with an experienced and attentive event coordinator who custom designs each menu and coordinates food, décor, and overall presentation to ensure a spectacular event. We have the resources and the connections with local vendors to coordinate the rental equipment, entertainment, flowers, photographers and bakers. With over 20 years in the hospitality and event planning business our experienced party planner can assist you with every little detail to create the perfect and unforgettable experience.

Location, Location, Location: Not only can we recommend a number of wonderful venues for your upcoming event such as private clubs, private homes and beaches, we also own four wonderful restaurants. The Brotherhood, The Sea Grille, The Lobster Trap and the Tavern offering a variety of atmospheres for a rehearsal dinner, private party or your fundraising event.

Island Events has produced and catered the Figawi Race Party for 1500 people for the past five years, the Boys & Girls Club clambake for nine years and the Boys & Girls Club annual fundraiser for four years. Along with these major Nantucket events we have also catered weddings, private functions and many private parties in our four restaurants.
